Customized tour
Before getting on your bike, our guide will ask what you would like to see during the tour. Let him or her know what you’ve already seen and what’s still on the wish list. Like this you will get the max out of your city trip. It’s also possible to indicate specific wishes when making your booking.
All tours are adapted to our clients. Our guides are used to cycle with couples, families with children, teenagers, groups of friends and colleagues, and know well how to personalize a tour. No wonder some of our clients have done several tours with us! Let us know as well if you’re especially interested in culture, history, shopping or gastronomy.
English speaking guides
Our English-speaking guides are all locals living permanently in Barcelona. They have tour experience, speak Spanish, are integrated in society and know exactly where to go. That works out well for the quality of our tours. We don’t work with guides that have been living here for a few months or temporally, because we know it takes some time to get to know the city and its inhabitants.

Company of 2 people: €52,50 per person*
Company of 3 people: €44 per person
Company of 4-5 people: €40 per person
Company of 6-7 people: €35 per person
Company of 8-10 people: €31,50 per person
*Minimum amount of participants: 2 persons
Children up to and including 12 years: €22,50 (With a minimum of 2 adults)
Children not cycling by themselves, but in a child seat: for free.
Please note: We take a maximum of 10 people per group. Why? Locals in Barcelona are often not very pleased by big groups of tourists on a bike. A sustainable way of living together, always placing the locals first, is most important for us.
Also, cycling in a small group is safer, you’re waiting less and it’s easier to hear and see the guide.

How to book a private bicycle tour
Do you want to book a tour? Use the contact form on our website or send an email to ramiro@elciclobcn.com. El Ciclo is a small-scale company with a limited amount of bikes (and guides). Therefore, it’s recommendable to book in advance when you want to be sure of a bike tour with El Ciclo.
Our tour bikes are extra comfortable, with three gears and a comfy saddle. Ask for a basket for your bag or water. It’s also possible to book a cargo bike for your tour. Keep in mind to reserve the tour at least 24 hours in advance and always wait for our confirmation. In case you want to do a tour within the next 24 hours, send a Whatsapp to 0034 607824860 and we’ll let you know the possibilities.
After having received your booking, we always send an email to confirm the tour.

- Our tours start and end at El Ciclo in the gothic quarter.
- Starting hours: daily at 10.00 and 10.30 am and 3 pm.
- Length: about 3 hours
- Kids’ bikes available from 6 years on
- Child seats (both back and front) available
- When it rains, guide and clients decide together what to do

Our guides
Originally from Ghent, Mathieu has been living in Barcelona for 14 years, the last four of which he has been a city guide. His interests in architecture and history ensure that he knows Barcelona like no other. In his free time, he can be found at the sea or likes to travel.
Dorien has been living in Barcelona since 2017 and absolutely loves ‘her’ city. She enthusiastically shares her favorite hidden squares, favorite restaurants and the best coffee shops with you during the bike tours. Dorien guides a few times a week for El Ciclo in addition to her regular job as manager for Xventura Barcelona.
Renske has lived in Poblenou for 4 years. A neighborhood where street art can be found everywhere and that is also one of her interests. Furthermore, she loves puzzles and games. So anyone who wants some quiz or game elements during the tour can definitely turn to her!
